It’s not simply being aggressive — there are different signs that your dog is stressed out and having touch trouble coping with the world around him.

Anxiety is another big one and there are even anxiety medications given to dogs to assist them with their fears. It may be loud sounds, kids, bikes a number of things. Even changing up your work schedule and then changing your dog’s routine will produce anxiety in your dog.
Some signs of anxious dogs are relieving themselves where they should not, and destroying things around the house. Some pets lick themselves so compulsively that their fur comes off and their skin is raw.
It’s not a reflection of your parenting skills if your dog needs meds. many times it’s one of the best ways to treat anxiety with medication while working with an animal behaviorist so you can eventually wean off of the meds.
Is Your Dog Bored?
“Dogs are social animals,” Zawistowski says. If you live alone and work long hours, your absence might upset your dog.
“Animals who haven’t got their mental and physical enrichment needs met will show undesirable behaviors,” Shikashio says.
If your dog is simply bored, increasing walks and spending more time with him might help. however, if he’s really afraid when you aren’t home, you will need to consult with a behaviorist.
Is Your Cat Bothered?
“Typical cat behavior problems can include litter box issues and claw at personal belongings,” Shikashio says.
A cat might become upset if you’ve moved the litter box, changed the litter, or started dating someone new.
Once the root of the problem is discovered, it’s easier to deal with.
